Borgsdorf

Hohen Neuendorf

Named after Borgsdorf, a village first recorded in 1375.

Borgsdorf appears in Emperor Charles IV’s land register (Landbuch) of 1375 as ‘Borcharstorff’. In 1653 Elector Friedrich Wilhelm gave the village to his wife, Luise Henriette of Orange. On 6 December 1993 it merged with Bergfelde into Hohen Neuendorf. Trains on the Nordbahn have stopped here since 1877.
