Named after the Moabit criminal court.
Most of Berlin’s criminal cases are tried here; with 340 judges and 360 prosecutors it is described as Europe’s largest criminal court. The present main building on Turmstraße, a monumental neo-baroque complex with two 60-metre towers, was built in 1902–1906.
