Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (1900–1944), aviator and writer.
The French writer flew for commercial airlines in Europe and overseas before the Second World War. On 31 July 1944 he took off from Corsica on a reconnaissance mission and never returned. His 'The Little Prince' became one of the most translated books in the world; Josy Braun translated it into Luxembourgish in 1994 as 'De klenge Prënz'.
