Arthur Knaff (1845–1911), officer and councillor.
Born in Clausen, he was a lieutenant in the Luxembourg army and later a telegraph inspector. He sat on the city council from 1884 to 1904 and co-wrote a history of the 1794–1795 blockade of the fortress.
