'Eecher Klinick' means the Eich clinic.
Its roots go back to 1873, when a hospice, an orphanage and a school were founded in Eich: the forerunners of today's clinic and of the Fondation Norbert Metz, through which the Metz family did much to set up the Eich hospital. Since 2004 the clinic has belonged to the Centre hospitalier de Luxembourg (CHL); its services are to move to the new CHL building, due at the end of 2028.
