'Millewee' means the mill path.
The name points to a path that led to a mill. In the commune of Steinsel, to which Heisdorf belongs, two mills once stood: the Bintzemillen and the Werdelsmillen. The villages of Mullendorf and Steinsel gradually grew out of them. We have not yet found out whether the path led to either of them.
