A secondary school named after Michel Lucius.
Michel Lucius (1876–1961) was a schoolteacher who studied geology and earned a doctorate in Zurich in 1912. He founded Luxembourg's geological service in 1936 and by 1950 had completed, on his own, an eight-sheet geological map of the country. He is seen as the father of Luxembourg geology. The school, opened in 1965, has carried his name since 1979.
