'Hierzekrëpp' means the deer's manger.
This steep footpath of almost 170 steps climbs from Neudorf, at 254 metres, to Weimershof, at 327 metres. The name recalls the feeding racks for deer in the game park of Count Mansfeld's castle; the park's wall was three metres high and five kilometres long. An inn called 'an der Hierzekrëpp' once stood at the foot of the path.
