A local place name on the Strassen–Bertrange border.
Schoenacht is a small area on the boundary between Bertrange and Strassen, south of the Route d'Arlon. Of its 2 hectares, 1.7 lie in Bertrange. Most of it is still meadow and pasture, but both communes have master plans for a new residential quarter there, mainly of one- and two-family houses. We have not yet found out where the name comes from.
