The University of Luxembourg.
Founded in 2003, the University of Luxembourg is the country's only public university. It was formed by merging four existing institutes, among them the Centre universitaire. It has three campuses: Belval in Esch-sur-Alzette, on former steelworks land, and Kirchberg and Limpertsberg in Luxembourg City. Courses are generally taught in two languages.
