Gabriel Péri

Asnières-sur-Seine, Gennevilliers

Named after the avenue Gabriel-Péri, which honours Gabriel Péri (1902–1941).

Péri was a journalist and Communist member of parliament, shot by the Nazis as a hostage. The station opened in 1980 as Gabriel Péri – Asnières – Gennevilliers and lost the town names when the line was extended to Les Courtilles.
