Named after the Bois-Perrier district of Rosny-sous-Bois.
The name comes from the RER station next to it, opened in the early 1970s to serve the new housing of Bois-Perrier and the Rosny 2 shopping centre. The metro station opened in 2024 as the new end of line 11.
