Named after Anna Ebermann (1891–1944), who resisted the Nazi regime.
Ebermann, a worker, joined the KPD in 1931; after 1933 her flat became a meeting place for opponents of the regime. In 1943 she was denounced for critical remarks made in an inn, sentenced to death by the ‘People’s Court’ and executed at Plötzensee on 17 March 1944. The street was named after her in 1976.
