Fredersdorf

Fredersdorf-Vogelsdorf

Named after the village of Fredersdorf – although the station was first called Petershagen.

Fredersdorf and neighbouring Vogelsdorf were first recorded in Emperor Karl IV’s Landbuch in 1376; today they form the municipality of Fredersdorf-Vogelsdorf. When the station opened in 1872 it was named Petershagen. It has been called Fredersdorf since 1875, from 1911 with the addition Kreis Niederbarnim.
