Named after the Freizeitforum Marzahn (‘Marzahn Leisure Forum’), a cultural centre.
The building was designed between 1983 and 1988 by the architect Wolf-Rüdiger Eisentraut, begun before the fall of the Wall and fully opened at the end of 1991. Its low, linked wings, with many octagonal forms, house the district library, a swimming pool, a skittle alley and a multi-purpose hall.
