Named after Friesickestraße, which honours the lawyer Adolph Friesicke.
Adolph Friesicke (1837–1907) was a lawyer and local politician. In the boom years he was land-registry judge, and Weißensee’s land sales passed through his hands. The street began as a private road of the landowners and was declared public on 17 September 1875; a Baptist chapel here was consecrated in 1910.
