Named after two streets that cross here: Grünberger Straße and Warschauer Straße.
Grünberger Straße recalls Grünberg in Lower Silesia, since 1945 the Polish city of Zielona Góra; it has had this name since 1936 and was Romintener Straße from 1899. Warschauer Straße, named in 1874, honours Warsaw, the capital of Poland.
