Named after Hansastraße, recalling the Hanseatic League, and Buschallee, honouring Felix Busch.
Hansastraße was formed from existing roads by 1988 to link the new Hohenschönhausen estates with the city centre; its name refers to the housing construction combine from Rostock that built the flats. Buschallee (‘Allee’ = avenue), named in 1915, honours Felix Busch (1871–1938), district administrator (Landrat) of Niederbarnim. In 1933 the Nazis forced him to sell his estate.
