Named after Kniprodestraße and Danziger Straße, which cross here.
Kniprodestraße (1901) honours Winrich von Kniprode (around 1310–1382), Grand Master of the Teutonic Order; from 1974 to 1995 this section was Artur-Becker-Straße. Danziger Straße recalls Danzig, since 1945 Gdańsk in Poland; from 1950 to 1995 it was Dimitroffstraße.
