Named after the writer Paul Heyse, born in Berlin.
Paul Heyse (1830–1914) wrote poems, around 180 novellas, eight novels and 68 plays. In 1910 he became the first German author of fiction to win the Nobel Prize in Literature. The street, at first just ‘Straße 16’ in the building plan, was named after him in 1905.
