Named after Riesaer Straße and Louis-Lewin-Straße, which honours a toxicologist.
Riesaer Straße recalls Riesa, a town in Saxony. Louis Lewin (1850–1929) was a physician, pharmacologist and toxicologist, the founder of industrial toxicology. When it was laid out in 1987 his street was called Paul-Verner-Straße, after the GDR politician Paul Verner; it was renamed after Lewin in 1992.
