Named after two streets that recall the towns of Stendal and Zossen.
Stendaler Straße was named in 1985 after Stendal in Saxony-Anhalt, Zossener Straße in 1987 after the Brandenburg town of Zossen. Many streets of the new Hellersdorf estates were named after places in the GDR regions from which the building workers came.
