Treskowallee/HTW

Karlshorst

Named after Treskowallee and the HTW, a university of applied sciences.

Treskowallee (1900) honours Carl von Treskow (1787–1846), who bought the Friedrichsfelde manor and in 1825 laid out the Vorwerk (farmstead) Carlshorst, the origin of Karlshorst. From 1961 to 1992 it was Hermann-Duncker-Straße. The HTW, Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin, has its Campus Treskowallee here.
