'Alen Eecher Bierg' means the old Eich hill.
It is the Luxembourgish name of the Ancienne Côte d'Eich, also called Géien Eecher Bierg, the steep Eich hill. Together with the newer Côte d'Eich, the Neien Eecher Bierg, it leads from the Limpertsberg plateau down into the Alzette valley. Eich, Eech in Luxembourgish, is a quarter on the Alzette next to Limpertsberg and was a commune of its own until 1920.
