Kiischtewee

Limpertsberg

'Kiischtewee' means the cherry path.

'Kiischt' is cherry and 'Wee' path; the official name is rue des Cerisiers. Opposite the Arts et Métiers school lies the Belle-Vue cemetery, the largest Jewish cemetery in Luxembourg. The Jewish community bought the land in 1883, when the old cemetery in Clausen had become too small. The cemetery was listed as national heritage in 2023.
