Avalon, a stop on Kirchberg.
We have not yet found out where this stop's name comes from. The best-known Avalon is the island of the Arthurian legend: Geoffrey of Monmouth first described it in 1136 as the magical place where Arthur's sword Excalibur was made and where the king was taken to recover after being gravely wounded at the Battle of Camlann.
