The Bambësch sports centre, named after the forest.
The Bambësch is a forest of about 679 hectares in the north of the city, spread over Rollingergrund, Mühlenbach and Beggen. Most of it lies on a plateau between the Reckenthal and Bridel, and it is a protected Natura 2000 area. Signposted trails and a fitness trail cross it; people using the fitness trail may use the sports centre's changing rooms and showers for free.
