Montereale is the name of two towns in Italy.
One is in Abruzzo, in the province of L'Aquila; the other, Montereale Valcellina, is in the province of Pordenone. We have not yet found out whether the street is named after either of them, or why. Bertrange's Italian twin town, since 1997, is a different one: Santa Maria Nuova, in the Marche.
