Demy Schlechter (1884–1923), writer.
Born Dominique Schlechter in Doncols, the son of a customs officer, he was sent to train in a shop but turned to poetry. After reading Willy Goergen he decided to write only in Luxembourgish. His first comedy, 'Sou sinn s'all' (1911), had music by Pol Albrecht. A street in Bonnevoie was named after him to keep his memory alive.
