Named after the Lycée technique de Bonnevoie.
A law of 2 December 1983 created a fifth technical secondary school in Luxembourg City, because the vocational school’s annex in Verlorenkost no longer met the needs of a growing number of pupils. In 1984 it was named after Bonnevoie. Its building opened in September 1989, designed for 1,000 pupils; that number was soon exceeded, and temporary structures were added in eight phases up to 2015.
