'Tubishaff' means the Tubis farm.
'Haff' is Luxembourgish for farm, and 'Tubishaff' is a variant of 'Tobiashaff'. Also called the 'upper' farm, it looked down for a long time from the Kuelebierg on the houses in the valley, until it burned down in 1969. In the early 1930s a water tower designed by Nicolas Petit was built on the Tubishaff to meet the demand for water in Gasperich.
