Named after the Howald park-and-ride.
Drivers leave their cars at the P+R Sud, which has 1,451 spaces, and continue into the city by tram, train or bus. The new Howald railway station nearby opened in December 2017, sparing commuters from the south a detour via the central station. A provisional tram stop followed in July 2024.
