Named after Howald railway station.
A first, very basic halt with a single platform opened here in 1992 and closed in 2015. The new station partly opened on 10 December 2017. It gives workers from the south of the country and the border regions direct access to the Cloche d'Or and the new Ban de Gasperich, without going via the central station. Since July 2024 the tram stops here too.
