'Scillas' are squills, blue spring flowers.
The stop takes its name from the Boulevard des Scillas in Howald, called Rue des Scillas until 1 June 2024. The street is named after the flower genus Scilla because of a rare species, Scilla bifolia, that grows not far away in the woods of the Doulemerbaach valley. In Luxembourg it is found in only about a dozen other places.
