Named after the Parc de Merl, or Märeler Park.
Despite its name, the park lies in Hollerich, not in Merl. At its centre is a two-level concrete pond with a fountain, where several kinds of duck nest. The pavilion beside it, built in 1977 to plans by architect Pol Holweck, was renovated and extended from 2016 to 2018.
