'Charlys Statioun' means Charly's station.
'Charly' was the nickname of the narrow-gauge railway between Luxembourg City and Echternach, which ran from 1904 to 1954. Senningen had its own station up here on the Senningerberg. After the line closed, the station building was pulled down, and the SEBES water tower now stands on the site. The name lives on in the hotel-restaurant Charly's Gare.
