Named after the course of the Golf Club Grand-Ducal.
The club’s company was set up in November 1934, when Grand Duchess Charlotte contributed land; the 18-hole course, on about 52 hectares, followed plans by Major J. C. Symonds. In June 1935 the Grand Duchess allowed the club to fly her colours, orange and blue. The sports club was founded in April 1936, with Prince Félix as honorary president.
