Named after the American city.
This recent square in Belair lies south of the Route d'Arlon, opposite the Rue de Rollingergrund. Building plans for the site go back to 1993. When a 2006 project by the British architects Chapman Taylor was revised, a planned link road from the Val Sainte-Croix to the Boulevard Grande-Duchesse Charlotte was dropped and the square laid out instead. We have not yet found out why the city chose New York.
