Kesseler, a jam maker of Strassen.
In 1917 Prosper Kessler, also written Kesseler, was allowed to open a distillery. After the war he set up a jam factory in the big orchard behind his house, at the corner of the route d'Arlon and the rue de la Chapelle, close to this stop. At first he used only his own mirabelles, plums and damsons, and local people helped with the harvest. The firm was taken over in 1982 by the Belgian company Lekkerland.
