110 St–Malcolm X Plaza

Harlem, Manhattan

Since 2025 the station honours Malcolm X, who lived and preached in Harlem.

Formerly 110th Street–Central Park North, after the stretch of 110th Street along the park’s northern edge, the station was renamed on 10 August 2025, when Governor Kathy Hochul signed the law during Harlem Week. Malcolm X (1925–1965), born Malcolm Little, moved to Harlem in 1943 and from 1954 led the Nation of Islam’s Temple No. 7 there.
