Église d'Auteuil

Paris 16e

Named after the church of Notre-Dame-d'Auteuil, named after the old village of Auteuil.

The station opened in 1913 as Wilhem, after a street named after a Parisian composer. After the First World War the name sounded too much like the German emperor Wilhelm II, so it was changed in 1921. Trains stop here in one direction only, and it is often the least used station of the network.
