Havre – Caumartin

Paris 9e

Named after the rue du Havre and the rue de Caumartin.

The rue du Havre leads to the Gare Saint-Lazare, where trains leave for Le Havre. The rue de Caumartin honours Antoine-Louis Lefebvre de Caumartin (1725–1803), provost of the merchants of Paris, who allowed it to be laid out in 1779. The station took its present name in 1926.
