Named after Osloer Straße and Prinzenallee (‘Princes’ Avenue’), which cross here.
Osloer Straße was named Christianiastraße in 1892, after the Norwegian capital; when Christiania became Oslo in 1925, Berlin followed in 1938. Prinzenallee recalls the princes who once took this road from a game enclosure in Wedding, laid out around 1712 for the crown prince, to Schloss Schönhausen. The street has had its name since at least 1857.
