Named after the Priesterweg, the path the pastors of Schöneberg took to Lankwitz.
‘Priesterweg’ means priests' path: the pastors of Schöneberg used it to reach their daughter church in Lankwitz. The street still runs dead straight from north to south, through allotment gardens, to the station, which opened in 1928. Until 1957 the Sembritzkistraße further south was also part of the Priesterweg.
