Wandmillen

Belair

'Wandmillen' means windmill.

A Dutch-style windmill with a stone base was built here in 1865, one of six mills in the old commune of Hollerich. It stood in the way of the new CHL hospital building. In 2025 the government decided to take it down carefully and rebuild it nearby, at the corner of Val Fleuri and route d'Arlon, once the new hospital is in service.
