Kierch (Kirchberg)

'Kierch' is Luxembourgish for church.

The stop recalls the church of the old village of Kirchberg, built in 1875 to plans by Charles Arendt and dedicated to the Virgin Mary; in 2024 it was proposed for listing as national heritage. The hill itself got its name because people from Neudorf, then part of Weimerskirch parish, crossed it on their way to church in Weimerskirch.
