'Biischtefabrick' means brush factory.
'Biischt' is Luxembourgish for brush or broom. The name recalls a brush factory in Rollingergrund, which until the 1930s was largely rural, with eighteen farms and nurseries, including the rose growers Ketten and Soupert. The quarter also had a large distillery and a vinegar factory, and from 1766 the Boch brothers’ earthenware works at Septfontaines.
