Avenue H

Midwood, Flatbush, Brooklyn

The station house was the sales office of the Fiske Terrace development.

In 1905 Thomas Benton Ackerson paid $285,000 to George P. and Elizabeth Fiske for their Flatbush estate, whose mansion was called Fiske Terrace, and gave the name to his new development. His sales office, which bore a Fiske Terrace sign in 1906, became the station house on 23 August 1907. The stop is said to have been called Fiske Terrace before it became Avenue H.
