Named after the former Boucicaut hospital and the rue Boucicaut.
Both honour Aristide and Marguerite Boucicaut, the founders of the Bon Marché department store, who used their fortune for charity. The hospital was built from 1894 to 1897 with Marguerite's bequest, after both had died. The station opened in 1937.
