Named after the town of L'Haÿ-les-Roses, which added 'les Roses' to its name in 1914.
L'Haÿ goes back to a Gallo-Roman estate, Laiacum, 'the estate of Laius'. A presidential decree of 10 May 1914 renamed the town to honour the rose garden created by Jules Gravereaux; nobody knows whether the mayor, Gravereaux or his friend President Poincaré had the idea. Planned as Chevilly – Trois Communes, the station got its name in a 2022 public vote.
